For those of you who don't know what whelping means--I just found out myself--We are having puppies. Yep, I came home today about noon and the poor dog was whinning and wrestless. I made a nice bed for her out of old towels and tried to give her some comfort. But how do you tell a dog to do lamaze--heeeheee hooohooo. Thank heavens animals are pretty smart when it comes to giving birth! So far we have ONE cute little Dachshund. The kids are so excited they can't stand it.--and they're driving me crazy. So I'll keep you posted hopefully we'll have at least one more.

Man that was a short pregnancy. Is that normal? I am so uneducated about dogs, puppies and doggy birth. Enjoy the pet drama. I will expect a full report tomorrow.
